Just like that, we begin to look forward to the Fall Equinox. As the leaves begin to change colors and fall, and the days grow shorter, it's time to turn inward for self-care. The practice each individual engages in to maintain and improve their mental, physical and emotional well-being.
With running a small business, working part-time out of the studio and raising a wonderful teenage son. I need to care for my well-being. I like to start my day by lighting a Palo Santo incense stick and flowing through some Vinyasa yoga to center my mind and body. After that, I take a 3–4-mile walk in nature or on a beach, which grounds me and sets a positive, energized tone for the rest of the day. This combination of mindfulness, movement, and connection with nature helps me stay balanced and focused.
I also love incorporating the following practices into my routine whenever time allows and wanted to share them with you. You might find one inspiring and decide to give it a try as well!
Cold Plunge:

Here at Flor, I've been working and sourcing out all summer long on a few new items for the fall and winter. These include a luxurious rose quartz coconut milk bath, amazing tea blends, two new candles and room mist scents, and a natural perfume that's truly addictive and finally our Illuminate Aromatherapy Harmony Collection.
With outer self-care, we also have to consider inner self-care. Mindfulness is always key. To learn more about nourishing your inner self through nutrition, be sure to read our article by contributing writer, Nutritionist and Dietitian Daniela Roggio on nutritional health care.
